Move the Health Sciences activities of Howard University to the Walter Reed site:
  • Hospital
  • Outpatient care and doctors' and dentists' offices
  • College of Medicine
  • College of Dentistry
  • College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health
Additional Developments:
  • New Aspen Street entrance for the community
  • Conference Center – community events & meetings
  • Open the Rose Garden bowl – community green space
  • Child Care Center
  • Community Center
  • Fitness Facilities Retail Shops, Restaurants, and Commercial Services
  • Graduate Student Housing

  • Howard University Health Sciences faculty and staff members are a stable workforce that will be an asset to the community
  • Serve the community's health care needs
  • Enhance the revitalization of Georgia Avenue
  • Members of the community will have access to site facilities
